Annual Reports and Regulatory Filings
Each year, Stewardship Ontario publishes an Annual Report that highlights the program’s operational and financial performance. Stewardship Ontario also submits an annual Regulatory Filing to the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA), as per Section 30(1) of the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016, and previously the Waste Diversion Act, 2002.

2022 Stewardship Ontario Annual Report
Stewardship Ontario’s Blue Box Transition Plan is on track for completion in 2025 and all conditions attached to the plan by RPRA have been satisfied. Implementation of simplified fee setting reduced the compliance burden for stewards and projected program costs.

Annual Regulatory Reports
As per Section 30(1) of the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016 (and previously the Waste Diversion Act, 2002) Stewardship Ontario submits Annual Regulatory Reports to the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA) each year by April 1. Below are the historical reports:
