Automotive Hazardous Waste Incentive Program

This program has been established by Stewardship Ontario to:

  • achieve collection objectives (transportation), and
  • to enhance the infrastructure for plastic recycling (processing)

of the three Automotive Hazardous Waste materials: used oil filters, used antifreeze, and used antifreeze containers and oil containers – or “Automotive Plastics” (as of January 2011).
