Registration
Obligated stewards need to register with Stewardship Ontario on the WeRecycle Portal. The Portal is a secure online platform hosted by Circular Materials and also used by stewardship programs in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

New users should click ‘Create an Account’ near the bottom of the page to create their WeRecycle account. Follow the steps on the screen to set up your User ID. Upon creating your User ID, you will receive an email with a temporary password. Log in with this information, and you will be prompted to set your own password.
An online Portal User Guide provides details for the registration steps:
- Select Stewardship Ontario as your program.
- Identify a Primary Contact and complete and submit the Primary Contact Form.
- Respond to obligation questions and confirm the obligation reporting years for your organization.
